The hotel as a huge yummy buffet - tried to pig out as much as I could!
Zeynep is in helping to run a conference on Religion and Democracy (funded by the Ford Foundation)! So she did some things with this in the morning and at 11am we left by Ferry/SeaBus to the Islands.
KINALIADA - (kinaliada)

BUYUKADA - (bukada) - The Big Island
ADA means Island
we got off at Buyukada and walked allllll the way to the summit - then ate! Pigged out! We walked up this street with huge houses - some super coiffed and others looking like they needed renovation. some of the views that these houses must have and did have was spectacular...
The architecture was a sometimes something like southern colonial and well - not sure!
There are no cars on the islands - did see a garbage truck and a police car! There are horse drawn carriages which we had to take back down the summit in order to catch our ferry back.
Tonite we're off to a milonga!
